OAKO DENMARK RETURNS.
1 | ELIGIBILITY & CONDITIONS
1.1 Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order.
1.2 Returned products must be unused, undamaged, and packed in the original packaging or equivalent protective materials.
1.3 The return policy applies once per customer. Repeat returns on subsequent purchases are not accepted.
1.4 Customers are responsible for secure and protective packaging to avoid damage during return transit.
1.5 Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.
1.6 This policy does not apply to items with manufacturing defects. Defect-related cases are covered under the OAKO Warranty Policy.
2 | NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
2.1 Shipping and installation fees.
2.2 Custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order products
(e.g., special grommet cuts, custom dimensions, specific wood tones).
2.3 Sample products.
2.4 Assembled, used, or visibly damaged items.
2.5 Orders refused at delivery without prior written agreement.
3 | RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
3.1 From within the EU
3.1.1 Desks or sets: €100 flat-rate return shipping fee
3.1.2 Accessories, chairs, and small items: return shipping will either be arranged by the customer or carried out by OAKO Denmark at a shipping fee agreed in advance.
3.2 From Switzerland, Norway & the UK
3.2.1 Desks or sets: €250 flat-rate return shipping fee
3.2.2 Accessories, chairs, and small items: return shipping will either be arranged by the customer or carried out by OAKO Denmark at a shipping fee agreed in advance.
4 | REFUND AMOUNTS
4.1 If the returned item arrives in original, unused condition:
✔ Full refund of product price
minus the applicable flat-rate return fee.
4.2 If the product is damaged due to inadequate packaging or mishandling during the return:
⚠ Refund will be the lower of:
– 85% of the purchase price, or
– The product price minus the return shipping fee.
4.3 Products showing assembly marks, wear, scratches, or misuse are not eligible for refund.
5 | ORDER CANCELLATIONS & DELIVERY REFUSALS
5.1 Cancellations Before Dispatch
5.1.1 Customers must email info@oakodenmark.dk to request cancellation.
5.1.2 The email must include:
– Full name and surname
– Order number
– A clear statement requesting cancellation
5.1.3 Cancellations become valid only after written confirmation from OAKO Denmark.
5.1.4 Refunds for approved cancellations are processed within 14 working days.
5.1.5 OAKO reserves the right to decline cancellation for custom-made and personalised orders if production or final packaging has begun, even if the order has not yet been dispatched.
5.2 Cancellations After Dispatch
5.2.1 Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.
5.3 Delivery Refusal / Change of Mind
5.3.1 Delivery refusal due to a change of mind is not permitted.
5.3.2 If the shipment is returned to OAKO due to refusal, the refund will be reduced by all outgoing and return-shipping charges.
5.4 Failed Delivery Attempts
5.4.1 If delivery fails due to:
– Incorrect or missing contact information
– Lack of response to courier attempts
– Failure to arrange delivery
5.4.2 The shipment will be returned to OAKO, and the customer will be refunded minus all delivery and return costs.
6 | HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT WITHIN 14 DAYS (STEP-BY-STEP)
6.1 Contact OAKO Support
Email info@oakodenmark.dk with:
– Order number
– Full name
– Items you wish to return
– (Optional) Reason for return
6.2 Package the Item Safely
6.2.1 Use original packaging or equivalent protective materials.
6.2.2 Send photos of the packaged product to OAKO to document its condition prior to return.
6.3 Schedule Pickup
6.3.1 For desks/sets in the EU/UK/CH, OAKO arranges pickup via partner couriers.
6.3.2 Customers must confirm a suitable weekday and pickup address.
6.4 Refund Processing
6.4.1 Once the return arrives and passes inspection, refunds are issued within 14 business days to the original payment method.
7 | LEGAL FRAMEWORK
7.1 This policy is aligned with Danish consumer law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, including provisions permitting:
– Deduction of reasonable return shipping costs
– Specific return conditions for large and fragile goods
– Exclusion of custom-made or made-to-order products from cancellation rights
7.2 By placing an order with OAKO Denmark, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
