- KATE Collection Ergonomic Chairs : produced in 30-40 working days
Shipping time after dispatch: 3–6 working days
- Monitor arms, Cable trays, Clamp power sockets, Metal cabinets, Ergonomic chairs, Privacy panels, Walking treadmills: ships in 10–20 working days
- OAKO Desk Pad, Wood Oils : ships in 3-6 working days
Important
If your order includes multiple product categories, the longest applicable production time will apply. Smaller accessories may be shipped separately.

Customs & Border Fees
For non-EU countries (Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom), customs handling and third-country transport costs are included at checkout.
You will never have to pay additional customs duties, import VAT, or border handling fees upon delivery.
1) Production Time
Every OAKO desk is handcrafted to order. We do not hold finished stock.
Estimated production time: 25–35 working days depending on destination and order volume.
Production begins after order confirmation.
Because we work exclusively with solid European oak — a natural material — timelines may occasionally adjust due to:
- Additional quality control procedures
- Natural wood selection and stabilization
- External supplier logistics (oak or steel deliveries)
- Seasonal production volume
We never compromise quality to rush production. If any adjustment becomes necessary, our team will inform you.
2) Shipping Time After Dispatch
Once your order leaves our facility, delivery typically takes 3–6 working days within the EU.
Transit times may vary slightly depending on region.
3) Carriers
We work with trusted logistics partners including:
- DHL
- HRX
- FedEx
- GLS
- UPS
- National postal services
Carrier selection depends on destination, shipment size, and delivery type.
4) Norway, Switzerland & United Kingdom
For Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, we use private freight carriers to minimize damage risk and ensure smoother third-country transport.
Delivery windows are limited. Our team will personally coordinate the delivery date with you before dispatch.
Tracking for private carrier shipments is available directly via OAKO customer service.
5) Small Parcel Shipments
Accessories may be shipped separately using FedEx, GLS, UPS or postal services.
All parcel shipments are trackable.
6) Delivery Conditions
- Delivery is to the building’s door only.
- Drivers are not obligated to carry items upstairs.
- The customer must coordinate the delivery date directly with the carrier once contacted.
If agreed delivery time is missed due to customer unavailability, re-delivery charges apply.
Re-Delivery Charges
- €30–50 within EU (depending on carrier)
- Additional charges apply if delivery address was entered incorrectly
Storage fees may apply after 5 days for EU deliveries. Storage is not available for non-EU shipments.
7) Return Shipping Costs
- €100 within EU
- €150 outside EU
Products must be returned in original condition and packaging. If damage occurs during return transport due to improper packing, responsibility lies with the sender in accordance with EU regulations.
8) Damaged Delivery — Mandatory Procedure
Exterior inspection:
If packaging shows visible damage, you must write “DAMAGE” on the carrier’s Proof of Delivery (POD) document at the time of receipt.
Interior inspection:
All damages must be reported within 24 hours to info@oakodenmark.dk with clear photos of both exterior and interior damage.
Failure to report within 24 hours may void insurance coverage.
If policy is followed correctly, OAKO ensures full support and resolution.
9) Delivery Liability
Once the shipment is transferred to the carrier, transit handling and scheduling are governed by the carrier’s procedures.
OAKO assists in communication and support but cannot control carrier timelines.
If a shipment is lost, OAKO will ensure a replacement product is provided.
OAKO is not responsible for compensation related to delivery rescheduling, separate package arrivals, or carrier operational delays.
10) Assembly & Installation
OAKO does not provide assembly, installation, or repair services. All products are delivered flat-packed with instructions.
11) Order Modifications
Simple order modifications may be requested within 5 working days after order placement.
Requests beyond this period may be refused and may require cancellation and a new order placement.
